Grassroots Grantmakers is a membership network of funders that Address local priorities, Value civic engagement and Build community.

A discovery meeting was conducted with the client to establish audience types and information requirements. A sitemap and IA outline were presented. Once approved, a prototype was built directly in a CMS.

Iowa Community Foundations are tax-exempt charitable organizations for Iowa’s diverse communities. It supports over 100 affiliate foundations.

The final site contains secure areas for member interaction and large databases of information to help people find their local community foundation and explore recent grants given.

   
Columbus Jewish Foundation

The primary function of the Columbus Jewish Foundation is to provide grants to non-profit organizations, both Jewish and non-sectarian, that serve social, cultural, health and educational needs.

A special section has been created to teach and encourage teen philanthropists to start giving early.

Persona Development
The users are broken into groups and profiles are established through a survey.
Contextual Inquiry
Users are observed carrying out common tasks in their work environment.
Goals and Constraints
Goals and priorities are established for the study. Any constraints are noted. 		  Design (Full)

Task Analysis
Common tasks are observed and sequences noted. The tasks are then reengineered to become more efficient.
Conceptual Model Design
A conceptual model or prototype is developed based on the reengineered tasks.
